It shouldn't take longer than 30 seconds to "finalize" your cover.

We received other reports of it taking forever, and almost everyone that reported were using IE7 .. are you using IE7 ? if so, try using google chrome, at www.google.com/chrome or firefox.com IE7 is a very old browser, with no support for modern technologies

I am using Chrome, and can create but can't download Packager images. (see my recent new thread 6/11) "Please wait while your ecover is being generated" comes on and stays, then nothing happens.

I am forced to do a screen capture and go into Photoshop to erase all the little sizing arrows. PLEASE FIX THIS -- it worked fine before

I am having this same issue and I have the latest version of Firefox. This is a major disappointment since I just paid for a subscription to use this program. Please provide a patch for this issue.

For the last two days it won't create my cover. I've made covers in the past. I've had problems from time to time with finalizing the cover, but never for two days straight.

When was the last time (prior to this time) you used the site? We recently updated the site, if you came back after not using it for a while, you may still have some cached files which is causing the error. Try clearing your cache to see if it fix the problem.


What is your username? I'll look into it. The logs doesnt show any timed-out errors, and there has been no other members reporting this issue in a while.

SOrry we will look into this. It could be our implementation that is not working accross all browsers. We will try to find a work-around

I'm having the same issue. My computer (Mac) is new and everything is updated; regardless, my cover just gets stuck downloading, and all I get is the 'please wait a moment' message. I've tried it twice; both times I stopped the download after over an hour of waiting for it to download. This is really disappointing. Please advise.

Sorry you experienced this problem. There was a problem with one of our server, it was corrected and it has processed the backlog of ecovers. Can you log into your account to see if it's in there under MY ECOVERS?

I am having the same problem my ecover is taking a long time to create. I have cancelled it three times and redid it but each time it just sits for over an hour. I am using the latest version of firefox. Have used the ecover maker in the past month with no problems.
