You can also use Sigil to add fonts or images, or edit the style sheet (for example if you want the indents to be a little larger, or the subtitles to have more space below them).

If you have some trouble using Sigil, try Jutoh which is a little less of a learning curve than Sigil. Jutoh is a paid software but most of the options are pretty easy to find, including embedding fonts.

#4: Online Tools

There are bunch of online tools that you can use to add chapter, since an ebook is mostly a collection of different chapters – each set up like a webpage. They work similar to WattPad.

Adding humor to a writing may sounds easy but the truth is that it’s a big challenge that some writers simply cannot fulfill. Indeed, there a lot of things to consider before you can make a funny statement in your writing. That’s why here are the ten tips to help you do it.

 

Stop worrying about what other people think. 

If you are an extrovert, then you are one step ahead. It will be easier to write something funny if we stop thinking of what would people say. Try to write as if you are just talking and throwing jokes with friends.

 

The Element of surprise. 

According to research made by Jerry Corley of the Stand-Up Comedy Clinic, surprise is the number one element that triggers human laughter. People like surprises whether it’s a material, words or emotion. Try to hit them with a line that something unexpected.

Include random facts and details. Add some random facts that sounds funny, like for example adding this fact to your stories or statement “If you consistently fart for 6 years & 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb!” Just make sure it is related to your stories, topic, paragraph, or sentences.

Details can help people figure out what was happening to your stories, and they can make boring sentences alive and funny. For example, you can say, “when he was walking towards me, he felt into the pit of boogart” instead of just saying “he felt into the canal while walking towards me”.
